Talk: Climate Change - a Global problem with Regional & Loca

16 March 2018 - 13:00

Event organised by United Nations Association (UNA) Norwich

The talk will be given by Dr Clare Goodess who is a Senior Researcher at the Climactic Research Unit (CRU) at UEA. She joined the CRU in 1982 and has devoted a large part of her career in the study of adaptation to climate change. As one of the world's leading institutions focused on the study of both natural and human-led climate change, the CRU's contributions to academic discourse have been enormous.
The work of the CRU has been instrumental in allowing the UK Government to understand how climate change will affect this country and thanks to Dr Goodess's vital research to assist governments around the world in limiting the damage that climate change could inflict, hundreds of millions of people could benefit.
