Norwich Extinction Rebellion Introduction

13 June 2019 - 19:00

A introduction for those wishing to find out more about Norwich Extinction Rebellion. As a low lying coastal county with a growing population, Norfolk is particularly vulnerable to climate change. Higher sea levels, heat-waves, droughts and storms are more likely to take place as average global temperatures rise. Recent flooding events in Norfolk have highlighted how real this issue is. Our government is not doing nearly enough to protect us from disaster. We want to raise awareness of this and what can be done about it. We hold weekly Thursday meetings, but please check website or get in touch as future locations/meetings vary in type/location. Everyone is welcome. All voices and all skills appreciated.
