PEACE AND CLIMATE CHANGE

04 December 2019 - 19:00

QUAKER QUESTION TIME ON PEACE AND CLIMATE CHANGE
19.00 until 21.00.
Norwich Quakers are inviting questioners and listeners for the following meeting:
It has been the practice of Norwich Quakers at the time of a general election to invite some candidates to talk to a selected audience about issues of concern. It is not intended to be a hustings or a general view of policy. The topics for consideration will be restricted to matters relating peace and climate change.
Attenders are asked to submit questions beforehand or at the door.
The organisers will then select representative questions from those submitted.
We ask that the candidates restrict their answers to their own views and avoid referring to the views of other candidates or parties. Subsidiary questions from the floor will be limited to matters of clarification and fact.
We hope that this format will allow the audience to get clear idea of what the views of the candidates are without the distractions of interparty debate.
We are inviting candidates, or their representatives, from The Conservative Party, The Labour Party, The Liberal Democrats and the Green Party.
Questions may be sent in advance to Peter Belton at peter.belton2@ntlworld.com , tel: 01603 465851 .
or given at the door on the night.
