Hustings: Peace & the Environment

04 December 2019 - 19:00

Norwich Quakers are holding a “Quaker Question Time on Peace and Climate Change,” taking place on the 4th of December at the Friends Meeting House, Upper Goat Lane, Norwich, NR2 1EW from 19.00 until 21.00.

It has been the practice of Norwich Quakers at the time of a general election to invite some candidates to talk to a selected audience about issues of concern. It is not intended to be a hustings or a general view of policy. The topics for consideration will be restricted to matters relating peace and climate change.

Attenders are asked to submit questions beforehand or at the door. The organisers will then select representative questions from those submitted.

It is hope that this format will allow the audience to get clear idea of what the views of the candidates are without the distractions of inter-party debate.

Candidates, or their representatives, have been invited from The Conservative Party, The Labour Party, The Liberal Democrats and the Green Party.

Questions may be submitted at the door on the night
