Norfolk Climate Summit (16 - 19 June)

16 June 2021 - 18:00

The main event this month is the Norfolk Climate Summit, which is being co-hosting by Norfolk Campaign Against Climate Change, Green New Deal UK - Norwich hub and the COP26 Coalition.

The online summit is spread across four days from 16-19 June, and with sessions on green jobs, food and farming, art and activism, divestment and more, there’s something for everyone! Speakers include Clive Lewis MP and teenage climate striker Dylan Hamilton. There will be plenty of time for discussion as well as hearing from the speakers.

It's a huge year for climate action, with the COP26 UN climate talks taking place in Glasgow in November. It is hoped the summit will be a springboard to build a mass movement for climate justice and a Green New Deal, for COP26 and beyond.

You only need to register once, whether you’re planning to come to the whole event or just a session or two.
