Norwich Woodcraft Folk

At Woodcraft Folk we believe passionately in equality and co-operation – everyone is welcome to join our groups.

We meet at Pilling Park Community Centre, 23 Pilling Park Road, Norwich, NR1 4PA and at the moment we have an Elfins group (under 9's) meeting one week, and a combined Pioneers/Venturers group (10-15) meeting on the next, both on Tuesday nights. We are looking for new members of all age groups and also parents and other adults interested in volunteering with us.

For those new to Woodcraft Folk:
We are an educational group for children and young people based on cooperation, peace and democracy. Our aim is to have great fun, but also to try and develop children’s self-confidence and build their awareness of society around them.
Through our activities, outings and camps we help our members understand important issues like the environment, world debt and global conflict and, in recent years, we have focused on sustainable development. By encouraging children to think we hope they will help build a peaceful, fairer world.

The Woodcraft Folk is an national organisation: For more about that, and the international movement we are part of, see the national website at www.woodcraft.org.uk
